To play a best poker game, a player should be familiar with the hands in the game of poker. One can play best poker only when he has the ability to differentiate among different hands. Some hands are:

Two Pair – this is an hand in which only 2 pairs of cards out of four in which one pair  are equally ranked and cards in the other pair are also of equal hand but not similar to the hands in the first pair. For example 2, 2,3,3,6.  In case that more than one players have a poker hand like this, the player which has the higher pairs wins. And if all players have same higher pairs, then the second set pair is evaluated and the one has a higher second pair, wins. Also, is both the sets are equal with both the players than the rank of the fifth card is the deciding factor of who wins the game.

One Pair – this is similar to two pair hand with the only difference that only one set has equal ranking cards and the other three are non matching ranking cards. The player with highest ranking pair wins in case on a multiple players and if the set is equal with all the players and the ranks of other cards are considered.
